After school clubs

At Croft Primary School we believe that education is not limited to what happens in the classroom during the school day.  We ensure that our pupils have opportunities to explore a range of areas that are not part of our day-to-day school curriculum and get to experience this with others outside of their class team or year group.

Throughout their time at Croft, pupils will have opportunities such as:  playing as part of a sports team, learning to play an instrument, performing as part of a choir or rock band, developing specific craft skills and using technology for different purposes.

Our clubs are updated on a half-termly basis and we vary our clubs throughout the year based on pupil and parent voice.   Pupils are given the opportunity to show an interest in joining a club and we try to accommodate all requests throughout the year so that no child misses out.

The clubs that we have are listed below and added to on a half-termly basis:

An external company run the Clay Creators club in the school hall every Monday after school from 3:30 - 4:30pm. Mrs Travill is also present and dismisses the children at the end of the club. Each club runs for 6 sessions and the theme for autumn 1 is space. Pupils learn and play with clay and get to bring home their creations.

Fridays - Choir (key stage 2)

Mr Hinchley runs Choir Club every Friday after school from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.
